Driver operates this vehicle while it is full to the brim with garbage. He is unable to see behind him effectively enough to avoid hitting things when he backs up. He hit a car at my house a second time because of his inability to see out of the windows in his vehicle. Please help!

Trucks are using their engine brakes on the bypass/College Mall Rd. It's very loud. I can hear them inside my house. Perhaps the police department could help restrict the use of engine brakes in this residential area.

Hello, I would like to give feedback on some unfortunate observations recently on Kirkwood Avenue and the surrounding streets. This took place last Friday evening around 8:30. We took a stroll after dinner to walk around the downtown area, and it was the first time in 20 years of living here, I felt unsafe. I witnessed people doing drugs, drinking on the street, and what appeared to be a drug deal, right on Kirkwood. I have to say I have come to expect public intoxication from college age students, but I think the police do a very good job of handling those cases. The people involved in the activities I mentioned are not college students. Most looked like they could be homeless or struggling in some way.
I understand there is no easy solution. These people need therapy, but they have to be willing to try to improve their lives. I'm not advocating arresting the people. I do think a stronger police presence is needed in these busy areas. I'd recommend posting cadets or others in uniforms strategically in the area. Maybe better lighting and security cameras would help.
Thanks,
Aaron Perry
