I am unsure this is a city issue, there is was looks like a n old landline access panel or junction box on 5th st. that is next to the road (maybe in ROW) that is unlocked and now open. See the picture.
Orange/white safety barrel stolen from a utility project site sitting in backyard (visible from alley) + four orange safety cones lining stairs in front of building leading up to front porch.
Constant banging. Occured all last night and is starting up again tonight. Noise is excessive.
Details: Just off E Third Street in front of house 213 Overhill, there is a big orange sign "Right lane closed ahead". The sign has been there for months, while there seems nothing going on ahead. Did they forget to take away the sign after the construction was done?!
I moved to my property about a year ago. I have been finding exposed underground cables in my backyard and I am worried that mowers might damage the cables.
A part of the road along the temp Cascades trail along Old 37 washed away between Saturday and Sunday.
Why is north bound traffic on College crossing the 45/46 bypass such a short green light? Only three cars can make it through before it turns red. It causes really long waits during rush hour, IU move-in etc and encourages people to dangerously run red lights.
Why was this case closed less than 24hrs after I posted? The alley behind our house does not have any lights in it at all. Not only does this make it a bit unnerving and dangerous to walk there at night, but it also makes it a very easy target for unwanted visitors. Last night, one of our bedroom windows was broken in and when we looked out back, we were not able to see anybody running away since there are no lights in the alley way. By adding a few lights to the already existing utility poles in the alley way, it would hopefully prevent similar incidents from happening in the future and make it much safer for all of the residents that use this alley on a daily basis.
