I am replying to an email from Adam Wason- he told me to tell my condo HOA to put up a sign ‘ no soliciting’ as a response to my complaint against Comcast for hanging a 24 inch flyer on my doorknob.
I suggest the City either ticket xfinity, pass an ordinance requiring them to have a local phone number so denizens can call them and complain, or both. There is no local number only the Corporate Comcast.

This package was stolen out of the 10th and College apartment complex mailroom. It was delivered at 1:04 on 2/4/23. It contained a refund check from the office of the Treasurer of the state of Illinois for a sum of money just over $1200. When I went to pick it up today at 1:30 pm it was missing.

I live at 815 N Park Ave, Bloomington IN 47408, and recently the Trains that pass through at night have been blaring their horns unabashedly. Is there a way that we can request the train operators to refrain from using the horns late at night? This is only a recent issue, but it has woken me up 3 times in the past four nights between the hours of 11:30pm and 3am. Thank you,
Evan Dalton

This is in reference to uReport Case #161251. I was told to pick up my refund at the Morton St garage office. I've been there 3 or 4 times so far, and no one is ever in the office. Can my refund be mailed to me, or is there a better place to get it.
Thanks.

I am writing to urge you to extend the amount of time between the issuance of a parking ticket and the date on which the price of that ticket doubles.
I realize I am lucky to have a secure job associated with a decent wage that allows me to occasionally absorb the cost of a parking ticket, for those rare times when I accidentally exceed my expected amount of time downtown.
However, it was not so long ago, when I was a graduate student, that I truly lived paycheck-to-paycheck, and had a lot of difficulty making it through the second half of the month. A $20 parking ticket which doubles in price within 10 days would have been a very difficult expense to manage. And it should be recognized that even those of us who diligently pay our meters occasionally run into difficulties that cause us to run over. At the same time, we often overpay for the meter ($$ for which we are never reimbursed).
In any event, a parking ticket that doubles in price within 10 days puts an undue burden on those residents of Bloomington who are in a challenging financial situation. I suggest you extend the remission time to 30 days to allow your city's residents to better manage their household budgets.

Dr. Kim Novick

MORTON STREET PARKING GARAGE: Why is no one ever there during advertised business hours? My step-daughter would love to pay her bill but there is NEVER anyone there to take her payment. Of course, your limited availability makes it next to impossible to attempt to resolve this issue.
