Parking Ticket-- Hi, I want to give Sgt. Albert in the Police Department a HUGE COMPLIMENT! My mother Brigitte Jensen in Bloomington (I live in Idaho) is 80 years old. She has been very ill and even though she has a handicapped sticker, she was given a ticket in a Private Parking Lot for parking in a lined area in front of a dollar store. She called me and was a bit shaken. I am here in Idaho and I called Sgt. Albert. He was so understanding and KIND. I actually got an update on Bloomington/Normal. Our next door neighbor wanted us to shovel snow away from their mailbox since the snow was plowed in a pile in front of it. It was assumed my son's car was parked in the cul de sac however he hasn't parked there when severe weather hits. I am not in the best of the health to shovel it away. Can someone from the city just plow it away from their mailbox and to the right of their driveway where no one parks? I mean the best to the city plow services but the neighbors think its our responsibility to shovel it and I beg to differ. Please direct me on this issue. They are a relatively young middle aged couple and are quite capable of handling this without blaming us. Deepest regards, Stacy

I live at Walnut Grove Apartments. Granted, no matter where you live, you'll get noise. But in the lease it mentions a noise curfew that starts at 10 pm. I have heard noise & thought it was the neighbor above me but it may not be him/her/them. I made a noise complaint with the police & reported it to the police. Well, it wasn't him/her/them. I have mobility issues plus I'm out of shape & overweight. I can't go to the 3rd floor to see if it someone from up there. The buildings are approx. 40 years old or so. It may not be blaring but I can hear it. I don't know if Walnut Grove can get stuff to go in between the walls or what. I have talked to them & they have tried to help to some extent. Is there any thing that can be done? I am trying to find another place to live but that takes time plus I'm on limited money & sec. 8. Please email me. Thank you.

This is the address of our neighbors. They have several dead trees with very large limbs that fall on our house, cars, and in our yard. We have made attempts to speak with them via knocking and letters all to no avail. These trees are dangerous and could fall and injure anyone in my family, my house, or our cars at any time. we need to know what can be done about this issue.

What hubris this city has. It wants compliments, but there is no place to complain. I can't even get to the ombudsman anymore. There are no email addresses. I will NOT join any of the social media sites I hate the existence of to contact government. It is wrongdoing to re1quire them. My complaints: 1. The signal at walnut and smith is out of sync with the other signals, wasting gasoline to help idiot bikes. 2. Closing Rogers street is STUPID. They buyilt a bridge to connect Rogers street 20 years agon, and now the idiots in the city want to close it for a stupid tech park that will never be used. Today my wife missed her appointment (and had to pay for it anyway) because you closed streets for a totally unnecessary (LUXURY) foot race. It is supposed to be against state law to hold races on public streets. There was no way to get out of my neighborhood to get to a 9:00 am appointment.
