There has been an abandoned cloth-upholstered couch degrading in the front lawn of 1208 S Woodlawn Ave for several weeks. There seems to be no indication of an intention to remove the couch any time soon. The couch may be attracting nuisance wildlife and be a source of mold, etc as it is directly exposed to the elements. The couch is also visibly a trash-waste item and it needs to be either placed inside the home or removed from the property instead of being placed on the side of the road for weeks.

I just read that there will be no trash & recycling pickup today with no plan to reschedule. I just want to confirm this. And a follow-up - are disposal units are full. Will it be OK to have trash bags with our disposal units next week? Thanks for your help - Kevin & Trudy Keough

Our recycling can went missing this morning- 4217 E. Morningside dr. It was there when I left for work- missing when I came home for lunch. Neighbors all have theirs.

Apologies if this is the wrong category. Target shopping carts abandoned on Hillsdale Court. I have attempted several times to report to Target, with no answers to the advertised phone number over several days. The carts have been there at least 3 weeks.

Observed city sanitation personnel leaving trash in their wake as they did the weekly collection. I had guessed this was happening, but finally saw with my own eyes. Often they leave the emptied bins in lanes of travel as well, when the bins were not set in the road. FYI - just hoping this can be improved so our neighborhood is free of litter.

We were charged over $300 under sanitation for "Large Item Pick up", however, were not responsible for any items that were allegedly picked up. I have tried to get in contact with the sanitation department for the past month with no avail. I would like to get this issue resolved so I am not responsible for the charges or the late fees that could potentially accrue. I found a large recycling can (City-issued) in our front yard last Tuesday or Wednesday. It was lying in the grass partially under a shrub I got it upright and put it out by the street, thinking it might be a neighbor's. It's still sitting there. It doesn't appear to belong to anyone on our end of Mitchell Street. I don't how this bin came to be in our yard, but can someone come out and pick it up?
