This is a part of a sidewalk on Winslow between Henderson and Piccadilly and is on the south side of Winslow. It has been like this for a few years, has been previously reported by me and our HOA at Sherwood Green with nothing done. Many people walk/run/skateboard/bike on this sidewalk. There is a man in a wheel chair who uses this sidewalk. It is particularly hazardous during winter with the ice/snow. Please fix this!
I'd like to request snow removal for the alley that extends east-west off of Rogers between 3rd and 4th streets. I live at 208 S Rogers and my landlord claims it is the city's responsibility to plow it. Thank you!
There is a paved alley behind the 200 block of South Maple Street that at least 8 residences use as the primary means of entering and exiting their homes. It is impossible for me at 214 1/2 Maple Street to actually exit onto Maple Street because of the narrow drive and the snow accumulation. Please kindly consider plowing this alley.
Hello, I am writing to inquire about whether the sidewalk on the east side of S. Jackson St. between 3rd and 4th streets can be repaired. As a person with a visual impairment, I have a terrible time walking on the sidewalk in this location, which is in the block where my house is. The sidewalk is very uneven, with tripping hazards throughout its course due to decay. If I didn't have a visual impairment, it would certainly be easier to walk on this part of the sidewalk, but I know that others with no visual impairment also have a difficult time because of the deteriorated surface. Tree branches blocking sidewalk on walk to work. 305 S. Rogers St.
There is a fallen branch on the sidewalk and treelawn (city easement) in front of my home. It fell from a city tree across the street. Presumably, someone moved it out of the roadway onto my easement. It is not thick, but is large and unwieldy. I do not have a photo I can submit.
This sidewalk is so uneven that I cannot navigate it safely with my power chair. Even if we are going to the WonderLab, we usually cross to the south side of the street for this block and then back to the north side again to continue on our way.
sidewalk floods in front house when it rains. puddle is too deep to walk through. very inconvenient.
The grassy area in between the sidewalk & street in front of 521 W. Kirkwood has several sinkholes. It is hazardous for people waiting for the bus. Who is responsible for filling these in--the city or the property owner Tom Gallagher? If it's the city, which dept? Don't know of there are pipes under that area.Thanks.
A gust of wind ripped away a tree limb on the red maple in front of my house and was blocking the sidewalk. I contacted the urban forester and left a message describing this situation, but didn't get a response. Eventually my housemates and I brought the limb down ourselves, but it still needs to be removed from the side of the road. Most of the debris has already been cleared except for the limb. We have enough firewood. Please remove the limb from the side of the road, thanks.
