Storm damaged limbs and trees need removed
Storm damaged limbs and trees need removed
Per Mike Stewart, please clear the sidewalk of the fallen trees so that pedestrians can use them and myself and my neighbors can pull out of the driveways without worrying about getting hit since line of sight is impacted. Note there are several spots across Rockport rd sidewalks where the power company did their repairs but the tree debris still blocks the sidewalk. This ticket is about what’s in front of my property specifically just wanted to make you aware that there are other hazards along the sidewalks for pedestrians. Thanks for your help!
The sidewalk on both side of our driveway have become a major trip hazard with about a 5 or 6 inch drop. We have small children that have tripped and fallen due to the root system of the trees that have caused the sidewalk to raise and crack. Additionally, small animals seem to make their way under the sidewalk.
Uneven sidewalk in two places on this block (south side)
Can the sidewalk at xxx East 7th Street be shaved down to eliminate the height difference between the two adjoining slabs? See photo attached. This height difference can be dangerous for westbound cyclists riding on the sidewalk who need to negotiate both a quick right turn and a left turn to enter the SR46 underpass. Now that an asphalt multi-use path has been built at Relato Bloomington at the intersection of Pete Ellis Drive and Longview Avenue, westbound cyclists are more apt to ride on the path/sidewalk vs. the street, and will continue to ride on the sidewalk all the way to the underpass. Cyclists will be going at speed since it is downhill westbound. To negotiate this sidewalk height disparity, while at the same time negotiating a sweeping turn, poses a dangerous situation that can be easily eliminated.
Tripping hazard caused by uneven sidewalk section.
There sidewalk broken city need fix sidewalk
broken sidewalk 1430 E 3rd street
The tree/roots between the sidewalk and road between 2704 and 2702 E Brigs Bnd has caused the sidewalk to tilt and hold water. This will pose an icy surface and is difficult with my walker. I also am concerned the water will cause damage to my driveway. Is this something you can look into. Thank you. V/R Kenneth Crevier
I've lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years, and the city put a hazard sign on the sidewalk months/years ago, but nothing else has been done to correct the problem, which can be quite dangerous at night
