Bradford pear tree broke, is blocking sidewalk and damaged street light. (no this is not a duplicate of a previously reported issue)
on s clifton ave between 1st and 2nd street: pot holes on the street and lots of tree debris on the edge of the road, particularly in the center section of the street. This is part of the bike/walking greenway trail.
During last nights storm, part of a large walnut tree cracked and fell, partly the street. Neighbors used a chain saw to clear their driveway for access, but debris is still on the road and blocking storm drainage/run off areas. Also, two dead trees nearby are at an angle and look like they may fall in the next storm. Street light and fire hydrant are located in the small area as well.
The back yard of this location backs up to Tamarron Dr. A city street tree along Tamarron Dr has fallen.
Street light out on the corner of South Washington St and Dodds St
City tree street down/ branches blocking sidewalks at 3729 Tamarron Dr; 3676 Tamarron Dr; Tree branch in street 3716 Callery Ct
For the signal at Woodcrest/Hillsdale and E 3rd St. - either the sensors or malfunctioning or the order of operations for the intersection signals are messed up: its hard to explain, but the biggest issue is that westbound traffic on 3rd is getting a shorter and delayed green, slowing down the already choked vein of access from the east side to IU and downtown.
Given my tax burdon, I don't understand why so many streets and roads in Bloomington go unrepaired. My automobiles are constantly subjected to unnecessary wear and tear. Motorists who try to avoid holes create hazards. This is a safety issue. Please use taxpayer dollars on this chronically ignored basic service. Thank you.
A very short stretch of North Indiana Avenue is extremely bumpy and uneven immediately to the south of East 7th Street. The bumpy stretch is right before you reach the intersection with 7th St as you're heading north on Indiana Ave.
