Potholes surrounds manhole covers are very large. IU Campus Buses hitting the potholes may shift manholes covers. Traffic has to cross double-yellow line to avoid pothole.

Pothole in intersection
This intersection has a lot of accidents that occur. It could be because the lights aren’t green for long, but they’ll be red for a long time. Maybe the yellow light timing is too short. I know INDOT controls this area, but hopefully a nearby resident’s concerns could help expedite a solution.
Hello, My name is Yangzheng WU. I stepped into a pothole on the road in front of SRSC and got a flat tire on 4/15 after class at 9:15pm from Kelley in the direction of campus view. There was a single pothole in the road about fifteen centimeters in radius and about 3-5 centimeters deep. It was in the middle of the lane, in the middle of the normal path of travel. There were no warning signs around this pothole, and there were no street lights directly above the pothole, so you couldn't see it driving at night. The sidewalk has a severe depression that collects rain (and ice in the winter), often to a depth of 3 or 4 inches. The problem started last year immediately after the area was reconstructed with new grass on either side. Someone did not think about the consequences of building grass higher than the level of a sidewalk that is not level.
Large pothole on eastbound side of 17th St, before Linglebach
This is a deep pothole, and hard to avoid. Located in the eastbound lane of Jonathan Drive, driving towards Lowes, but west of Lowes.
