Need speed limit signs on East 7th going both ways between Longview intersection and Bypass exit.
Need speed limit signs on East 7th going both ways between Longview intersection and Bypass exit.
I have in front of my house the remnants of a speed bump design that wasn't effective. What is left are two very small speed bumps in the center of the road. Unfortunately, the width of the space between the end of the bump and the curb in front of my house is just wide enough for a car to pass through to avoid the bump entirely. I will say comfortably 50-75 percent (this is a conservative figure) of the traffic does not slow down, and swings into that gap between the speed bump and the curb to pass by. The road in this area in front of my house has had to be repaired at least three times, and it is a hazard for pedestrians on the sidewalk to be in that proximity to the cars at speed. I also have to go through that section of the yard and pick out all the asphalt chunks that have been broken off the road and flipped into my yard before I cut the grass. It is a significant amount. I would like to ask that a speed bump that extends across the road be considered here, much like the ones on Maxwell Drive. Is there anything you can do here? I've included a picture for context. Thank you very much for your help. Rose Johnson
A tree fell down on a power line.
Downed tree from storm yesterday currently resting on communication line cables.
The eastbound left turn lane's green arrow is running every cycle, even though there's pretty much never any cars in that lane - it goes to a driveway. This causes westbound traffic on Adams/3rd to wait needlessly for their green signal. I am assuming that this left turn arrow operates from a trigger wire in the pavement.
Large pothole in northbound lane.
Large pothole in northbound lane. Previous report for 2115 S Yost is incorrect. Sorry!
Road has several potholes that need filled at the minimum. The road should be resurfaced before the conditions deteriorate any further.
Pothole in northbound lane.
Corner of Moores Pike and High Street. The green HIGH STREET sign on one of the corners has come down, it is sitting in the grass, but still readable. Maybe it can be re-attached to the pole it used to be on.
