Just wondering where all the water in front of twin lakes rec center is coming from. It’s been wet in front for at least 2 months, consistently every day, and we have had little rain. I drive through this every day and just wondered what was causing this?
The storm grate in the 300 block of 7th street is broken and the structural integrity of the drain appears to be somewhat compromised. The concreate around the drain is severely damaged. This is a fairly new drain so I'm a bit surprised that it has broken so quickly.
Weeks ago I submitted a request asking that the storm drain in front of my house, and the one across the street, be cleared of debris. Nothing has happened. When will the debris be cleared from these City storm drains? (I have cleaned them multiple times.)

Hello, For several months now I have noticed a large wet patch on the side of W. Bloomfield Rd in between the entrance to the Twin Lakes Rec Center and the entrance to the lower ball field. The water overflows onto the the west-bound lane of W. Bloomfield Rd as it runs down the hill. The fact that the area never dries up makes me think some sort of water line may be leaking. I just wanted to bring it to your attention because when winter really sets in I am concerned that west-bound lane will be a sheet of ice. Thanks for your time. Thanks, Matt

There is a loose person hole cover on the sidewalk at 3rd and Madison, northeast corner,near the entrance to the pedestrian overpass in front of the empty building that used to house a motorcycle store.
Hello, I live at 404 E 1st Street and walk to work at the university. Since it has been raining steadily for days, the leaves have moved into the street gutters and are blocking/clogging the gutters and grated drains all throughout this neighborhood. With the new 2023 leaf recycling law, most of the neighborhood did not rake and remove the leaves (my neighbor at 402 has the front yard filled with leaves, a rental unit) and the recent windy weather has blown the leaves everywhere and now the rain has moved them into the areas that I mentioned. This problem is causing excessive water to gather on my property. Please send out crews this week to clean up the leaf problem before there is a major flood in this neighborhood because the forecast is for another 10 days of rain. Thank you, ELIDA C. The sewer lids on college south of 17th street are horrible. Everybody has to dodge them. Please make repairs.
