Since last week's rainfall, the sewer grates on E 1st Street are covered with leaves, particularly between Fess and Grant Streets, thus preventing the proper drainage of rainwater. Can you please have these cleaned? I also want to add that this has begun happening more often since the City has stopped collecting curbside leaves. Thank you for your help, E.C. Behar 11/11/2024
Drain in front of this property is blocked and the street flooded last time it rained. Drain needs unblocking and the flood debris needs clearing up
The manhole in our street segment at 3509 E. Dunstan Drive gets clogged again because of tree leaves, which caused the water from the city sewage to go back to our home. This issue happens every year, and I'd like to report it to the City now so the City can come over and check.
Received this comment on report I submitted in early Sept: We investigated the area and didn't find anything we believe to be a main leak. There are a few residential fish ponds in this area that may be getting drained. We will continue to monitor the situation. Sent notification to Emily Tate, Anonymous I am still seeing this street spot as wet, just in the one place as from the attached picture I sent in the original report. I am happy to watch and document this as we head into freeze and thaw conditions. I believe it will cause cracking and some loose asphalt. A few homes have mounded their leaves on the the street. Rather than bagging or mulching. They are going to be in the storm drain with the upcoming rain. Please have them remove their leaves from the street
Directly in front of One City Center on the 7th Street side, the ground has opened a large hole at the edge of the sidewalk that has gotten increasingly bigger over the past couple of weeks. It is very much a fall hazard, especially with the upcoming winter should the ground be covered with snow etc.
The odor of raw sewage is especially strong throughout this area close to Lower Cascades and the baseball fields. I live just north of this area, so am regularly driving or biking through. While the odor has consistently been present over the years, it has been especially strong and consistent in recent weeks/months. I am not certain of the exact source, but I have concerns there is leaking sewage pipe or some other source of exposed sewage. Thank you for any efforts to identify and/or remedy this issue!
This week, someone with a backpack blower blew all of the leaves from the property on the wedt side of the street into the middle of the street. I assumed they were going to remove them. They did not. It is now a matted coating of leaves on a steep descent to a stop sign. Very unsafe (esp if it rains and freezes). The road needs to be cleared here to prevent an accident.
This hole next to the street is about 3’ deep and has been there for at least three months. It needs to be filled
Thanks for taking this message. The west third bike lane stretch from Franklin at the west to Patterson at the east is filled with hazardous debris and deep gravel, and has been for many months. This has forced dangerous punctures, avoiding hazards by taking more of the safer pavement in the main lanes, thus alarming drivers, and other cyclists using the sidewalk. Please send crews or the machine soon.
