Approximate location. Observed from E. 5th St. North side of road. Reporting copious standing water in easement and rear of properties at NW corner of N. Clark and E. 5th. Hello. I am writing to see what I can find out about the streets in my neighborhood. I have lived in Sycamore Knolls for over 25 years, and I haven't seen the streets in such bad condition. I took pictures on my walk this morning on Rock Creek Drive and Montclair Avenue. The one uploaded here is just one of many that I would be happy to email to someone if necessary. I know that our neighborhood is listed in the street indicator as in poor condition, but I don't see anything that describes when we might be in line for repaving. I am not an expert, but I think at least the two streets I mentioned need to be grated first and then repaved. We have so many layers and chunks of asphalt are everywhere in the streets and clogging up the drains. Thank you and please advise.
The drainage swale needs to be cleaned of debris to assure adequate drainage. Perhaps more so, there is a wall of weeds 5 feet tall needing to be cleaned up. The neighbor across the street had received a city warning of their grass being too tall while the weeds are many times that.
Ongoing sewer smell coming from general area of Cascades creek running behind our house. Always an occasional issue but lately (past few weeks) a very PUNGENT odor happening multiple times a day. Possibly a pipe is leaking?
Should I expect to smell shit all summer. This is ridiculous. Waves of sewer wafting through the air every once in a while, but on a pretty much daily basis.
Completely blocked storm drain just past the stop sign at West McDonald's on Franklin Road. Plus, lots of that foliage should be cut away.
No water pressure
Gutters on both sides of the street are clogged from leaves coming down from the top of the hill and collecting in the drain with rain causing pooling, especially during hard rainfall. With rain forecasted over the coming week, this debris needs to be cleared from the drains so the runoff has someplace to go
Something is being washed down the creek that runs through Southeast Park. This picture shows it at the culvert under Moores Pike. It's like this all the way to Sare Road.
