There is a yellow plug in the concrete that is a tripping hazard.
SE corner of lot just west of alley and close to the sidewalk there is a medium-sized, water-meter pit that is uncovered. Lid is not around, apparently. Dangerous trip hazard at night, and animals could fall in.
Small (~7" diameter) metal access cover (valve down there?) labeled "Water" in the middle of 10th street on the east side of the intersection with Dunn is damaged, completely missing the central portion of the lid and creating a hazard if someone steps in it or a small animal falls in. There is also another one with nearly an identical problem (or completely missing) about 50 feet west at the intersection of 10th and a funny little road named "Prow".
There is a stop sign next to 521 W. Kirkwood that is stuck down in a pipe & facing west toward 601 W. Kirkwood.
CBU removed portion of sidewalk to fix water line. Sidewalk never repaired.
Mr. Ogle called in to report that a sidewalk was installed improperly and is creating storm drainage issues for his residence and his neighbor's residence.
Customer said that the sidewalk in front of her home is sinking and the sidewalk is falling in.
This is my second report on this issue: Water meter protruding approx. 2.5 in the *middle* of the sidewalk near 438 W Somersbe Place (county). I have seen numerous people trip and one person fell but fortunately was not seriously injured. It is only a matter of time until someone is. The liability is yours. There is a metal service door with a hole in it and the cap to this hole is missing. This is nothing to extreme, but it could be a hazard.
Curb has sunk about 6 inches below road pavement creating deep hole. Caused by broken connection to sewer pipe on city property. City supposedly repaired the leak over a year ago, but area is still sinking to the point that ground level is now below the pavement and still sinking.
