Called to report a rat infestation in Kensington/Hyde Park. She has 22 rat holes in her yard alone. Someone from MoCo Public Health came out recently, after Ms. Nephew called that department, and found rat holes on 8 properties across 3 streets, minimally. I suggestd that Ms. Nephew contact both Animal Control and HAND because there's an ongoing issue with her neighbor leaving out birdfeed, debris and composting materials that are likely feeding the rats. Excessive overgrowth is interfering with use of the sidewalk along Sare Rd. I’m not sure of the exact address - it’s where there is a portal in the fence for the dog to see people going by on the sidewalk.
