The former Blue Sky veterinarian building looks like an urban jungle. Can any clean up be done?

At 731 S Parkway Dr the yard is extremely unkept. Grass not mowed, weeds are high, shrubs so overgrown you can’t see front door, they are as tall as the house, up to the gutters. Back yard is overgrown also. Neighbors are concerned. You can see a kiddie pool surrounded by weeds. The driveway has junk cars with flat tires and a dumpster is permanently in the driveway. If the inside is as bad as the outside it is unfit to live in especially for children. Please do something. Neighbors know this has been reported for years and nothing changes. I would think the school bus driver would report it. Summer time people take walks and everyone sees this run down property. Pest control services in the area told us they wouldn’t go back to the house it was so bad inside from his view from the front door. The mailman has to see it. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!

this gas station on the corner has alot of weeds on the corner of the building. looks real bad. not sure who is responsible to clean that up. thank you

Identical issue to uReport cases #181052 and #171211. Large stones from corner of retention wall (NW corner of property, Lincoln side and adjacent to the alley) are not professionally set and have a habit of falling down onto the sidewalk. Currently, the fallen stones are not completely blocking foot traffic, but wheelchair/stroller traffic is impeded and the stones pose a dangerous stumbling hazard at night. The property owner should have the wall redone by actual, competent masons so that this doesn't happen again.

with regards to case 192882. I just saw that her yard was mowed by a neighbor, therefore you will not see the violation. Neighbors become so frustrated that they will occasionally mow the yard. That is not fair to them. She needs to be fined. Also she permits people (possibly IU students) to stay there without electricity and water. I have not checked to see if she is registered with the city for a rental property, but seriously doubt she is. She owes fees to our Community Association and we have a lien on her house for fees owed.

Defne Jones is an absentee homeowner in our community. She is repeat offender for failure to maintain her property at 412 E. Laurelwood Court, Bloomington. The yard is once again out of control and in need of mowing (among other things). This is not the first time she has been reported to the city.
