Blocked Sidewalk

- Case Date:
- 10/22/2024
Cases #193296 (6 September) and #193766 (11 October) pertain to the same property/issus. Both are closed and marked "resolved", though issue remains. Invasives have grown over the retaining wall and are blocking the sidewalk. The steps lead to what appears to be a vacant lot, though there is a building at the far north end of this property. As per Elevate, owner is:
The Teague Trust
2106 Casa Mia Dr San Jose, Ca 95124
If Bloomington would pass an ordinance restricting property ownership to local residents, and even better to require that property owners actually live in the buildings they own, most of the problems like this would go away.

A utility cut was made at this intersection west of Upland Brewing. The work appears to be completed, but the repair of the cut leaves the cut edges too high causing severe stress to my cars suspension even if I try to go over it slowly. When will this intersection either be repaved of the utility cut filled in so that the pavement is smoother going over it?
Thank you for your fine (and I go mean it) work.

Clarification for case #199848: We believe the report was meant for 415 E. 10th. The people involved with the demolition are *very* amateurish - blocking traffic by running out in the street, and the bucket used to tear down the building almost fell over a couple times. hould have been done more systematic so that some of the materials could have been saved. Did they even have a permit to do this? This is a Brawley slum rental, currently listed for sale: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/415-417-E-10th-St-Bloomington-IN-47408/442693160_zpid/
