Please unblock this road it is ridiculous I live at 2738 S Pinehurst Dr and I have to drive though some neighborhood to get to my house. If you are trying to stop people from going through my neighborhood you are failing because people will just go through more neighborhood to get around the construction and can you blame them you have completely shut the south side of town down and you are going to send all the Jehovah’s Witnesses though my neighborhood now since you cut off the only direct access to their church.

Is it possible to have a crosswalk painted on 3rd at Rose? Today I saw a blind person trying to make the crossing. Per the email below, a few years ago, it seemed this was a possibility. Yes. Backed up West bound traffic on Bloomfield Road is made a bit worse with the lights here off sensor during construction. The timing is providing more time than needed for cross traffic and turn lane, should be set much longer for E-W Bloomfield. The light further east at Twin Lakes has very sensitive sensor for cross traffic, also adding to the backup, could let the cross traffic wait longer and reset if they escape with a right turn on red to keep the E-W flow going if it can.

The intersection of E Canada Drive and S Heirloom Dr is a dangerous intersection with no right of way or stop sign. There have been several cars that have been hit or almost hit at this intersection. To add to the problem, there is no clear line of site when cars are parked on left side of the road as you head towards S Heirloom Dr for cars on S Heirloom to turn safely onto E Canada Dr. I would suggest either no parking signs and a stop sign be installed, or double lines be placed on the road and a stop sign.

Where East Canada road narrows and comes to an end, its too tight to have cars parked on both sides of the road. It is also dangerous as many times people coming from South Heirloom Drive do not stop when they get to E Canada Drive and you cannot see them due to cars being parked there. Who maintains this road and who can we contact about putting no parking signs up?

There has been a wire drooping over this entrance to the neighborhood for weeks now. Duke came out and discovered it was not their wire and all they did was put a flag on it. This morning it is now making it impossible to drive through. it is on the ground. I have also contacted Comcast to see if it was there Hanging wire across the street and apparently they have not come out to do anything about it either. This morning it was fine and now it is blocking one of the two entrances to the neighborhood and the other entrance already has a lot of construction going on at it.

The part of the curb on the West side of Sare Rd, as showed in the picture, protrudes into the lane unexpectedly and narrows it. As you can see it has black tire marks and the cement is chipped as well – indicating that cars hot the curb all the time. We walk or run there every day and this is an accident waiting to happened. A few days ago, as we were walking along, an SUV hit the curb, right there, and continued to weave for 50 yards. If it had jumped the curb we would have been hit. Generally speaking the walking path is too close to the road and a guard rail should be installed between the Hyde Park Village and at least to Spicewood.
