Hello, I just wanted to suggest installing traffic lights or adding round abouts at the entrances/exits at Bloomington North. The area is extremely busy around 7:30am and 2:45pm with inexperienced drivers. It’s very difficult to get out of the school. The other area is N. Prow Rd turning onto Arlington. It’s actually pretty unbelievable that there are no lights or added safety precautions for students driving this route daily.

Hello, I am re-developing the property @ 3000 South Walnut. The location is where the former Southern Winds Hotel and Roosters club were located. The property at the beginning a workout facility and a chiropractors office. AS you pull out from the property and are going to turn left (North) and cross traffic, there are two trees located to the north on the side of the road. When cars are coming South and I am turning to the North, it is difficult to see whats coming and that is where the speed limit changes from 30 to 40mph, which is the place many seems to start speeding up. We will have more traffic than ever entering and leaving the property right from the beginning and even more as the property continues to be redeveloped overtime after the initial building and business's are active. A stop light right around there of course would be superb for the property but probably could never happen due to the traffic that occur that comes over the hill when people are traveling South down South Walnut. With that in mind I was hoping the two large trees could be taken down so it is much safer at that point because of the visibility that would open up. One tree is directly in from of the property and the other is directly in front on an older apartment complex that has around 10 apartments in it, it looks like. Would this be possible? Or maybe we could plant a couple new tress which would be much smaller and take several years to grow out? Of course that problem would show up again several years from now but it would take care of it presently for sevevral years. I am just worried about such a great new area being redeveloped for the area and future to have potential traffic issues with people being able to see when pulling out of the property. Duke Energy has refused to remove a large orange cable that is down on the length of my property (3/4 of an acre). They say someone else needs to take care of it, like maybe a cable company. I am concerned that it is dangerous to kids in my neighborhood and I cannot do yard work around it. Moreover, it is in the utility easement. They said to pick it up and see if it is attached to the utility line and I am unwilling to do that because it seems risky. In any case, no utility should be leaving their waste on my property and they should take responsibility for removing it safely.

Rogers Construction regularly parks their trucks in my yard within 800 feet of my mailbox so they block the mailtruck and my mail delivery. I have asked the homeowner and Rogers Construction to stop and I have put up a "no parking" sign. I have also called the BPD to ask for advice on how to handle the situation. This has gone on since May 2025.

There is a water drainage issue at Spicewood ln across from Sherwood Oaks church on the project that is being complete. The water is not draining at this location. Also, the sidewalk from here to the roundabout at Sare road is extremely overgrown making it single file for bikers, runners and walkers in multiple areas.

With the closure of Tapp Road intersection due to I-69 construction, a lot of traffic has been diverted on to the Tapp and Rockport Road intersection. Due to this there is a severe need for a traffic light at this intersection since now in the morning rush hour there is a long traffic backup on Rockport road towards coming into the city at the Tapp intersection. It would help if there was a four way traffic light added on this street so that it would help with the traffic pattern. -Concerned Citizen

Construction site at 3rd street and Pete Ellis has setup their construction fencing in the bike line along Pete Ellis. Was this intended and permitted?
