My wife and I live at 515 W 3rd st, in Prospect Hill. I would like to request a simple upgrade to the functionality of the pedestrian signals at the S. Rogers st. and W. 3rd st. traffic interchange. I will reference the City of Chicago as a best practice. In Chicago, in almost every intersection with a traffic light, all pedestrian signals utilize the following sequence: a) When the light turns green, the white walk icon light actuates. b) When the pedestrian signal reaches the 30 second level (sometimes more or less than 30 seconds, depending on the overall duration of the light), the white walk signal changes to a red blinking don't walk icon and countdown timer, which counts down the remaining walk time. c) When the timer reaches 0, the blinking light changes to a full red don't walk icon. This coincides with the traffic light turning yellow. d) This functionality is in place 24/7/365. This functionality provides crucially important situational information to both drivers and pedestrians on the status of the traffic light. This is especially important as we somewhat frequently witness incidents of road rage at this intersection, as an unintended consequence of the no right turn on red signage that has been placed at this intersection. I am generally supportive of the no right turn on red signs, but the signage has definitely created this new issue. Because this functionality already exists at this intersection (in some pedestrian signals, at some times of the day), there should not be any material cost to make this change. It will require a technician to modify the code in the microprocessor that controls the lights. Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like to discuss further. Thank you. A left turn light turning from Patterson onto Allen is needed, the oncoming traffic is obscured by foliage and the curve of the road

On 7th street the construction has resulted in multiple stop signs being taken out. Every day I see cars spewing through which is ferrying especially at night when it is hard to see pedestrians because of the new bike lane. This neighborhood is where my friends reside and every day I fear for their safety. These stops signs need to be put back in immediately because of the danger they are actively putting residents and students in. Construction should not result in danger for safety.

The left turn arrow for the left turn does change to green. I sat through this light on Thursday and today for two light cycles and it never turned green.

The light going north on walnut facing 4th st turns green for less than 10 seconds. It only allows one or two cars through. This is occurring at 6 am when there are few cars on the road

Left turn signal does not work or is burnt out going south on fee at 17th st. Causes traffic confusion.

The intersection of 15th & Lindbergh/Oolitic needs to be an all way stop. Traffic from Oolitic eastbound is not visible from Lindbergh on the north side of the intersection due to foliage nor for westbound traffic due to cars parked along the north side of 15th. For safety, to prevent accidents, please add stop signs to Oolitic and 15th.

3rd and Lincoln stoplight heading east to turn onto 4th street never gives turn arrow. Only flashing yellow. Can’t ever get anything but one vehicle through. Please fix.

Traffic is horrible on W. Third and W. Second going west to east. We have to go thru parking lots to get anywhere. Or, go all the way to 46. Lanes are closed off and no one is working.

Construction is ridiculous. You have every street tore up and the traffic lights are not letting traffic get through properly! Why not do one street at a time. Enough is enough! And stop bringing more people in!
