Sidewalk in front of house has degraded to a point that it is dangerous if someone used a scooter in the dark along this stretch, or even walking. Next time the owner applies to renew the rental permit, please stipulate that the current sidewalk be taken up and a fresh one poured to match the rest of that block and remove the current hazard.
Rental permit should not be renewed until property owner repairs the sidewalk in front of house. It is highly degraded and dangerous.
Can the City require people to fix crumbling sidewalks in front of their houses? The sidewalks along 12th Street are all in good shape except for a single address that has a sidewalk that is so degraded that it's easy to trip and fall, especially in the dark. Yew bush/tree has grown out so far that it halfway blocks the sidewalk. This makes for a dangerous situation at night because the sidewalk is in really bad shape at the same location.
