Mr. Greely is visually impaired that utilizes a guide dog. The Limestone Grill and the other businesses are plowing their parking lots and dumping the snow on the sidewalk. In order to safely walk to Kroger, his guide dog walked him in the middle of the street and had no idea until a motorist notified him. He also states the sidewalk in front of Cingular Wireless have not been cleaned. He would like the compliance officer assigned to this request contact him.

Follow up on uReport Case #158991: In spring of 2017 I filed a report with the city about the downspout drainage from my neighbor's property (2802 S Forrester), which dispenses rainwater directly onto the sidewalk in front of my house. They were issued a notice by the city, and they cut back the relevant downspout as indicated in the resolution of the ticket. However, thereafter they built a masonry channel from the end of the downspout that continues to direct the rainwater from the downspout onto the sidewalk in front of my property. When it rains moderately or heavily, the sidewalk on my property turns into a river, still, and in the seasonal transition to and from winter, the sidewalk winds up coated with ice. They masonry channel is topped with a plywood cover that is disguised with landscape rocks. I wanted to talk with them about this directly rather than file a report, but for 3 weeks I have not seen them at their house. Their house is reportedly under contract for sale, and I think it only fair that this issue be resolved (ideally by extending the drainage under the sidewalk to the curb so it no longer causes a negative impact on my property) before they sell it, so that new owners do not have to correct something they are not responsible for. Excessive overgrowth is interfering with use of the sidewalk along Sare Rd. I’m not sure of the exact address - it’s where there is a portal in the fence for the dog to see people going by on the sidewalk.

Beth Holbrook called about a missing sidewalk linkage on the west side of S.Sare Road from Buttonwood Lane to a point about 250 yards south. She observes that access to the new middle school and park would be served by completing sidewalk. She acknowledges that the sidewalk on the east side of Sare Road would provide access. But it also needs to be completed. Please explore who is responsible for doing sidewalks and when they could be completed. I will notify sidewalk committee of concern.

A resident that lives in this area stated that the sidewalk in front of this house, or in this vicinity, is overgrown with bushes, poison ivy and trees. The sidewalk is so overgrown that you cannot walk on it.

This weekend we WILL be trimming the trees around the sidewalk inside our cul-de-sac. However, we along with all of our neighbors are not happy with the "no mow" grass that is on Sare Road outside of our property. Matt Smethurst is who told us it was "no mow" and would stay lower than 8" in height. It did not stay short and is now hard to see around and looks awful. I tried to email back to Matt off of our original communication and his email bounced back as not active. Could someone please help with this?
