This property is covered in weeds and bushes that block the sidewalk. Pedestrians are forced to walk dangerously close to traffic. If the weeds consist of grass, contact HAND for a Title 6 ticket. If the weeds are blocking the sidewalk enforce under Title 12.
Mr. Ogle is very concerned about an improperly placed sidewalk at this location -- says it's a hazard.

Dear all, I am writing you finally since I have been unhappy with the situtation of E Matlock Rd since we moved there around 15 years ago. The road should have a side walk on one side that goes all the way to the IU golf course (sure it would be great to have sidewalks or bikelane to Griffy Lake). But let's start small. Many people cross the bypass and go running, biking and walking in the area. Since they just come from the bypass the cars are often back to speed up again or come from the end of the street and speed up the hill. A lane for bikes and pedestrians or only pedestrians would at least protect them from always to watch every second. If out of a reason this sidewalk would not be an option please look into some speedbumps (maybe 2) on the street or at least one. People either race up the hill or down and it would be great to slow them down. It is a 30 zone but many drive 50m/h. The crest of the hill on 8th street has inadequate lighting. People on the sidewalk are invisible for security purposes, and cannot see obstacles to walk safely. A neighbor hit my car door because he could not see it. People leave their porch lights on all night, so we have some visibility.
The street hasn't been plowed and I need to get to work. I cannot drive on the street because the snow is too deep.

I thought there was a street tree category but I can't find it. Nevertheless, I need to report a hazardous dead Ash tree at the corner of my property at W. 11th St and N. Oolitic Dr. It's the tree right next to the Oolitic street sign. The specific address is 1510 W. 11th aka Forest Homes Addition Lot 48. The tree constantly drops extremely large limbs onto the property, the sidewalk right below, and into the edge of the street. Due to the size of the tree, the limbs wouldn't just leave a slight bruise if one fell on a person. Obviously, I understand the difficult situation we find ourselves in at the moment, but I'm hoping this tree can be removed asap. On Thurs, April 30, Bluestone will be removing a large dead tree on my property and I am also paying them to remove a couple large, dead branches from this Ash tree. That won't take care of what is higher up, though. Thank you.
