Now that we all are more or less used to our new trash cans, it is time to educate the Bloomington residents about trash can etiquette: don't leave them on the sidewalk all the time. The 2 cans in the picture have been sitting there every since they were delivered. Hope you can do something about it. 700 S Eastside Drive. Thanks.

During Sunday storm, water runoff on Madison Street between 6th & 7th flooded into my commercial space (212 N Madison). It climbed a foot up the exterior of the building and flooded comletely to the back of the building, jeopardizing thousands of dollars in equipment and stock. It appears that the sidewalk tips toward the building, and so that once the water crests over the sidewalk, it is pushed into our space. It seems to me that the issue with the sidewalk is the city's. Further, I wonder if there is anything that can be done to ensure the functioning of the sewer, which is the problem at the base of the flooding issue. I know two other spaces on that block also flooded. I don't have a photo, but can secure one from my landlord if needed. Many thanks for looking into this. Jane
The sidewalk along the E side of N. Walnut opposite M.S. park, passing "Running Crab;" rotten R.R. tie retaining wall is falling into the sidewalk. Condition worsens N.B. all the way to the corner at the Hampton Inn.
Gravel washed across sidewalk below Hampton Inn sign on N. Walnut. Iffy power chair traction/steering and pedestrian hazard.

Re: https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=161791 Closed by Kenneth Liford We don't think this case is closed. There are 2 trash containers in front of the house on First at the corner of Henderson (house number is not visible: next to what looks like 52?. One is on the sidewalk, one is on the grass. Seen on Thursday at about 5 pm! These tenants are repeat offenders, otherwise we would not bother to bring it to your attention.
