Walkway that runs west off of the end of Homestead Drive onto IU health office property. There is a drainage cover just off thenorth of the middle of the walkway, and it is regularly completely covered up, which causes flooding of the entire area, including into the IU health parking lot as well as the east end property owner of Homestead Drive. Can someone look into why this is constantly blocked as well as cleaning up the sidewalk which is currently completely covered with debris.

An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. had plastic in another container aside from red recycle bin...did not have recycle marking on trash can...did not get picked up though. Mr. Wiley was very nasty to all office staff when he phoned in resorting to foul language.

Resident called in complaining that her recyclables had not been picked up again and stated that it must be a personal vendetta against her. I spoke with the crew on that route and they had written resident up. Crew also advised that resident usually does not sort recyclables and that they have spoken with resident about it several times and have also done several courtesy pickups. Resident wanted a courtesy pickup done today but I advised that we could not do one. She stated that she would be contacting the Office of the Mayor to make sure that new people pick up her recycling.

Mr. Malone called the Public Works Office to report that his recycling was not picked up, he stated that there was not a notice left. Jason went to this address and found that there was a notice left, he piicked it up any way. Jason wanted this on file. R.H.

My recycling and paper recycling was not picked up today. I called twice, both times before dept. closed. First time, at about 11:46 or noon got a man, very nice; second time at 1:50 an answering machine. I'm told recycling is closed on Friday. For how long must I leave these two containers out for pickup? I finally called the Mayor's office, and Elizabeth filed a U-report. Naturally she was nice and very prompt in helping me.
