Hello, I am checking to see if any pot hole and or improvements are scheduled for Weimer Rd connecting Tapp with 2nd St. This road is getting extremely rough and eroding away I believe somewhat due to the winter and the additional traffic that is traveling due to the construction work that is happening all around the area. I am the Office Manager for World Wide Automotive and have heard various complaints from our customers and also have personal experience traveling this that it is in need of repairs. I found one of the mailbox banks (mailbox E) at the Adams Village Apartments was found with the panel doors completely open. I cannot tell if the Post Office person failed to shut the doors or if someone broke into the mailboxes. There is mail for several residences exposed currently.

Handicap parking being used by vehicles that do not have parking permits. How about having an online way to report villagers since community office won't tow the vehicles.

There is a tree down on Tapp Road (post-storm on the afternoon of 6/25/2024) blocking two lanes of west-bound traffic. This is at the corner of Tapp Road and Vanguard (where it crosses between World Wide Automotive Service and the medical offices for Hospice House, Summit Urology, etc.).

Resident reports excessive trash buildup and trash strewn across properties at Dollar General and CVS Pharmacy off of South Walnut. Resident has contacted both companies and was told to call the Office of the Mayor.

There is a big piece of steel rebar sticking out of the sidewalk near the eastern entrance to 2427 E 2nd Street. It's become a safety issue for cars and pedestrian as many kids walk through there to get to the elementary school. Unsure if since it's an IU office if it's IU property? Mrs. Cynthia Becker called about mistreatment of juvenile son, age 17, by police officer. She did not elaborate on disapproved conduct, but mentioned that she would have wanted the police to contact her or her husband about son's behavior. Council Office sent complaint form to her.

had plastic in another container aside from red recycle bin...did not have recycle marking on trash can...did not get picked up though. Mr. Wiley was very nasty to all office staff when he phoned in resorting to foul language.
