Trash attracting rodents.
Trash attracting rodents.
Recycling miss out picked up by Britt Shipley.
Resident called in about her recycling being written up for not being properly sorted. She stated she had been sorting it the same way for years and had never had problems before (paper in one, plastic/glass/aluminum in other). I sent Mike Courter out to check on it. He stated the recycling was fine and removed it from her residence.
Large pile of bamboo brush on property. Neighbor getting rat holes. Other trash in yard too.
Caller states there is an overgrowth of bamboo at this address causing line-of-sight issues at intersection of 6th and Elm.
Bamboo and other overgrowth blocking stop sign, overhanging street, blocking sidewalk.
go down alley to see trash, pull behind trailer, and possible over occupancy in the house.
Resident (Janeene 812-325-0369) called stating that her recycling had been perfectly sorted but homeless people had been digging through it overnight and had messed up the five bins that the recycle crew did not pick up (crew did pick up two bins). I told her that we could likely do a one time courtesy pick up once I had spoken with the crew about the recycling. When the crew (946) came back in from the route I was informed that the recycling had been mixed and that there had been shoes, pants, and other trash mixed in with it as well. I called the resident back at that time and advised that we would not be able to pick up her recycling as a courtesy due to the state that the recycling had been in.
Trash dumpsters overflowing, trash all around property, broken glass in parking lot.
