The resident at this location refuses to comply with lease terms regarding cleaning up their apartment. The conditions are going to contribute to unwanted pests and potentially other hazards. I have sent them notice, emailed and texted. The owner of Pavilion told me that the Hand dept will come out and either help put the resident in touch with resources or will have it cleaned and fine the resident. I just need to know if this is true and if I can get assistance getting them back in compliance with their lease terms instead of eviction. I’m sure you love getting these. I’ve had a small trench on the side of the road on the University Road side of my house. It’s been there for a while. Recently, a water line broke or something similar happened requiring the city to move a fire hydrant to the city easement in that part near my yard. The trench has gotten bigger, and with the new construction, it has exposed dirt that will further wash out. I think you’ll want to add a lot of gravel to cover that trench and the construction spot for the hydrant. A new storm drain may be a long term solution. Anyway, if you can add a lot of gravel or similar (grass?), I won’t even complain about the damage to my lawn or even the lawn damage from Hoosier Fiber from last year.

Not the best trash service this morning. I put nothing at the curb last night and this morning the alley is blocked by uncollected trash. The garbage container at far right belongs at 717 S Park and has been at the curb for more than a week now. The others belong across the street at 716 and are regularly retrieved.

Currently, the city only has one method for filing noise complaints, which is to call the number listed on the city's website. Having only one reporting method is extremely ineffective, and limiting the reporting method to only verbal communication creates a barrier for accessibility. There are individuals who cannot communicate over the phone - like me. Illness stole my voice years ago, but my hearing was not impacted - I still hear the noise. I just can't report it. Not sure what an adequate fix would be, as it would have to be something that is regularly monitored. (Address provided is rough estimate of area where heavy bass plays frequently, it could be one of these houses or an apartment building - I needed to put a location on the map, so I included that one.)
