The reflective signs designating the runoff/curb/flower boxes on Allen Street are white. They completely disappear in the snow. Several cars have driven into and over the curbs. Large yellow/green/red signs are needed to make these less hazardous.

There is a very dangerous vehicular traffic pattern on S Woodlawn Ave between Sheridan Dr and E Hillside Dr, especially near the Grimes & Woodlawn and Weatherstone & Woodlawn intersections. There is a blind hill on Woodlawn that greatly decreases visibility for everyone. North @ south-bound vehicles on Woodlawn regularly break the speed limit by 20+ MPH and have even seen estimated speeds of 70+ mph. Sometimes vehicles "floor it" on Woodlawn southbound from Sheridan Ln stop sign. The city should consider installing a STOP sign on Woodlawn @ Grimes intersection to decrease the speed of North & South-bound traffic on Woodlawn Ave. The city should also consider additional signage to protect pedestrians who are crossing from Weatherstone Ln to Bryan Park. I have almost been hit there several times by speeding cars and trucks. This is a primary route for cyclists, pedestrians, commuting students, and dog-walkers. Pedestrians and cyclists crossing Woodlawn anywhere between Hillside and Sheridan Ave risk injury and death by vehicles speeding up and down the blind hill. The property of 1208 S Woodlawn Ave contains Japanese Knotweed. Japanese Knotweed is a city-listed nuisance weed, and in the case of this property the growth is well over 8 inches (more like 5-10 feet) and is visibly spreading into adjacent properties to the west and north by rhizome. The Japanese Knotweed is also visibly growing into that house's siding and foundation. This is likely a rental house situation where the landlord is neglecting the landscaping.

Cars are parked on unimproved surface on Monday, 9/5 at 11:00 AM. This is not entirely their fault, as there is no room to park on the street - it would be very helpful for residents if the city improved the street and shoulder of Palmer Ave on the 1300 and 1400 blocks to make parking safer. Because this is a rental property, and there is also a car in the garage, totally 4 cars on the property, HAND should also investigate if there are more than 3 unrelated adults living at this property.

Please make South Dunn Street between Grimes and Hillside One-Way only, Northbound. This is a very narrow street. Oftentimes, traffic travels through here at a high rate of speed. If there is more than one car traveling on the street at a time in opposite directions, we frequently have to pull to the side into parking (if room) or one car has to either stop at an intersection to allow the car to pass, OR one of the cars have to back up into a parking space or another intersection to let another car pass. PLEASE consider making my street a one-way street Northbound which would align with the only available parking spaces on the side of the street. THANK YOU! :-)
