I noticed last night that the Northeast corner of the tennis courts at Bryan Park has a light that is facing to the north. It's very bright and shines right into traffic headed south on Woodlawn. I'm not sure if it got rotated in a wind event or something, but it might need to be turned back towards the courts.

Hi there - a kind suggestion as we are in summer. There were some patrons today with a service animal. It may be a suggestion to post signage or have the kind workers remind that the concrete is 100°.. not many shade options when all areas are taken.. and poor animals being made to pant and burn their paws. I am not against service animals, but the cruelty or failure to treat animals with care, especially in this weather. I was mere minutes away from calling police today for the animal.

Hi. I live at 1418 S Palmer Ave. We are supposed to be able to park on the street in front of our house. However, the gravel has washed away and left a ditch that is impossible to park in (towards the far end in the photo). The result is that, when we park here, our cars are sticking out into the street more than they should be. Last week, my roommate's car was hit while parked here, which could in part be caused by this issue with the street parking area eroding. We are hoping that the City can come fill it with gravel or pave it so that we can park here without worrying about our cars sticking out into the street and getting hit.
Thank you,
Hannah

The house across the street from us (209 E Wylie) has a ton of cut down branches that are blocking the sidewalk and road. These branches have been sitting there for over a week now.

People park on Driscoll at corner of Washington AT the stop sign. Essentially makes the street one way. Also you can’t see the speed limit sign in the Driscoll block from walnut to Washington. New building also has no curbing painting for corner of alley along with fire hydrant !!!

There is a very dangerous vehicular traffic pattern on S Woodlawn Ave between Sheridan Dr and E Hillside Dr, especially near the Grimes & Woodlawn and Weatherstone & Woodlawn intersections. There is a blind hill on Woodlawn that greatly decreases visibility for everyone.
North @ south-bound vehicles on Woodlawn regularly break the speed limit by 20+ MPH and have even seen estimated speeds of 70+ mph. Sometimes vehicles "floor it" on Woodlawn southbound from Sheridan Ln stop sign.
The city should consider installing a STOP sign on Woodlawn @ Grimes intersection to decrease the speed of North & South-bound traffic on Woodlawn Ave. The city should also consider additional signage to protect pedestrians who are crossing from Weatherstone Ln to Bryan Park. I have almost been hit there several times by speeding cars and trucks.
This is a primary route for cyclists, pedestrians, commuting students, and dog-walkers. Pedestrians and cyclists crossing Woodlawn anywhere between Hillside and Sheridan Ave risk injury and death by vehicles speeding up and down the blind hill.

I believe that house next door to me (209 E. Wylie Street) is being rented out as an AirB&B. Is this legal?
