We did our best to clear the snow from this public alley last week, but the bottom layer was frozen to the street and we were unable to remove it. At this point it is very icy and we have seen several people slip and one person fall, especially when walking up and down the incline. We have also seen cars sliding on the ice, unable to brake properly. If there is any way this alley street could be salted in order to prevent future falls before it gets even colder this weekend that would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.

The alleyway mouth/sidewalk is a solid sheet of ice on both sides of Hunter Ave between Woodlawn & Hawthorne. Very dangerous for walkers/bikes/wheelchairs

The cover/cage of this street light swings down from the bulb. I have reported three lights on E. University St. I walk my dog at night and am very attentive to proper lighting for safety reasons.

Main streetlight often doesn't work, leaving the whole street dark. I feel unsafe walking home some nights, and when it is out, particularly so.

Hello: I was in communication with Christina Smith last fall regarding a street light that needs to be installed on S. Fess Ave. Preferably 821 S. Fess Ave., as that is the middle of the block. The 800 block of S. Fess is totally pitch black, unless there is a full moon. I'm not sure why this completely dark street, with two homebound senior citizens living on it (my neighbors), hasn't become a priority for a street light. Please consider taking care of this soon. Fess Avenue. Each year, we install street lights within the public right of way on a petition base and available funding. I have placed your request area on are list for future consideration. The street light in front of my neighbors house in front of 422 E University is intermittent. It turns itself off at random times and then comes back on a few minutes later. This problem has persisted for several months. I tried reporting this online to Duke Energy, but their online tool doesn't show a street light on this block, so I'm hoping you can find out who takes care of this light and forward the information to the appropriate people.
