Potential fire hazard caused by plant overgrowth. Severely overgrown grass/plants between the public sidewalk and the Henderson Crossing apartments (the building closest to the intersection of Atwater and Henderson). Several are long enough to drape over the sidewalk. There are outdoor AC/condenser units next to the apartment building, but they're almost completely covered by the grass/weeds. Some of the weeds are taller than the condenser units. General recommendation is to keep 1-3 feet of clearance around these units to prevent objects from blocking the intake for these units. Maybe there's some sort of guard preventing the plants from actually blocking the intake, but I couldn't see any - I only knew the units were there because I could hear them, they're almost completely concealed by overgrowth. The venting system that should be connected to the dryer is not properly connected. Therefore, lint has been piling up behind the dryer for approximately a year now, which is a major, major fire hazard. The previous tenets told the landlord about this issue on August 21st, 2020, but this issue wasn't resolved and still has not been resolved. The landlord has been given proper notice that this issue needs to be fixed and it has not been.

I have detected ground fault issues in 7 of my 14 outlets in the residence, apartment 25. And I detected numerous ground fault issues in apartment 29 as well. My cat found this issue on the night of September 6 after scent spraying a power outlet. The breaker failed to prevent an overload, a fire started, and I had to manually throw the breaker myself to kill power to the malfunctioning outlet. I believe the landlord is cognizant of the issue as one of the 3 replaced outlets was never discussed as damaged or of issue.
