Hello, we have a Pin Oak tree to the west of our home that was affected by the storm. We wanted to check to see if this tree is on city property. While looking at the GIS it looks like our property line starts at our basketball hoop and the tree is to the west of that line. There are branches that are loose and it looks like there has been a lot of woodpecker activity in the past that is creating damage. Could someone please come out and inspect the tree and let us know what you think? We would love to keep the tree if possible, but safety-wise we would like to have it checked/trimmed up. Thanks so much.
We recently bought this house. When the plumber installed new toilets, he suggested I ask the city to check the water pressure. On June 12 I called about this, but have not heard back. Please advise. Thank you. John Scott Long 3855 E Brighton Ave 812-322-2940
An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. If someone chooses to respond to this concern by phone, please note that we have very limited office hours, but they could leave a voice message. Email is actually best. Thank you! As of 11am on Saturday, February 17 it appears all surrounding neighborhoods have been plowed and salted but no roads in Hoosier Acres have been salted or plowed.
Many potholes in Hoosier Acres. Specifically at E Cameron Av and S. Christofer Dr. More specifically on S. Christofer Dr just before my driveway to back entrance to house.
The streetlight is not working at the intersection of Brownridge and Ravencrest.
While digging holes for a tree planting on 4/30 behind St. Thomas, we found 3 thin utility lines in one of the dug holes (lines were not harmed) -- our 811 ticket was completed, so we think these may be inactive lines but wanted to make sure before we put the tree in that spot. Is this something the CoB can check on? Thanks!
Asphalt has been tearing away for over a year and running down stream into the walkway directly west of the end of Homestead Dr. Large area 3' by 6' has been torn away and keeps getting worse with every heavy rain.
Street light at E Brownridge Rd and S Meadowbrook Dr is out
