I have complained 50 times in the last ten years about my neighbor overgrown yard especially the bamboo which I have to cut back every month or risk it taking over my yard , and in those ten years only one time has the city done anything . The owner was issued a warning in August I believe but she still hasn’t cut down the bamboo or the extreme overgrowth on our property line wich hangs over onto my roof. The rear retaining wall of 705 w 13th Street is a hazard as it is soon to fall like the other piece of retaining wall that fell off. Please address this hazard that is seen every day by us dog walkers using the public ROW in the alley. That large piece of limestone could fall any second and land on something or someone and it is unfair that property owners are not held accountable for maintaining their property. This rental property was inspected recently, and even with hazardous sidewalks on property as well as hazardous retaining walls, it was approved as safe for being a rental. Nope. It is not safe.

So you all going to come cut the 4 foot tall grass coming up through the sidewalks on the Maple Heights bridge or you just gonna wait another year to maintain this area like usual? You know what would be cool is if you all actually maintained the town instead of relying on people to contact you. Here's a thought: make a grid of the town, have people regularly check certain sections more than just once a year or never, and when you spot something fix it. Another thought: perhaps you all need better management.
