Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

622 W 6th ST

Case Date:
10/5/2018

This entire sidewalk is covered in dirt and leaves which makes the ground slippery when wet. The sidewalk floods when there is rain which renders parts of the sidewalk impassable. There is also excessive growth from most of the foliage on the side of the sidewalk. The sidewalk is also uneven and broken; you can not wheel anything on the pavement and have to walk in the road.

Juanita‘s restaurant has recently installed two of these LED security lights illuminating their parking lots. They produce at least 20,000 lm each. I live a block away, And I can literally read a newspaper from the light that comes through my window. I believe the luminosity of these lights is in violation of city code for lumens per acre.

The house at 621 West 6th Street has tiny no parking signs in their yard along Fairview Street. Is this an actual no parking zone? If so, these do not look like legitimate no parking signs.

Abandoned vehicle parked facing south on Fairview St. This vehicle has been parked on the cross section of W. 6th St. & Fairview St. for approximately 7 days which during that time has not moved. Do the new water meters finally mean we can be billed by the gallon as opposed to the present archaic system of thousands of gallons, which is exceptionally adverse to water conservation incentives as well as basic economic fairness. Please say yes. It's such an easy change to make. Even X for every hundred gallons is a vast improvement and perhaps easier to transition to.
