Scooter on the sidewalk on Grant st
Scooter on the sidewalk on Grant st
A man picking up scooters from a corral today at 10:30am who was driving a pickup with a large trailor had parked in the middle of Grant Street at this location while attending to the scooters, blocking passage of vehicles traveling south. As I rode by (bicycle, not a scooter) he aggressively moved into what remained of the available street to use, attempted to block my path and emitted a deranged, sneering sound as I passed. It was a dangerous and unnecessary thing for him to do. He was possibly in his 30s, was a bit overweight and seemed a bit "limited". Please inform the scooter companies that their employees should be trained to respect people around them while they are working.
Scooter tipped over, entirely blocking sidewalk

The street light south of aforementioned address is either very dim or just broken. Since that light is out of commission, all of Indiana Ave is poorly lit and deemed unsafe.
All the light posts along E Cottage Grove Ave stretching from the start of the road near Woodlawn Ave to Indiana Ave the light posts are defective radiating a blue/purple light that is not safe when it’s a block from a big ten campus. It actually makes it more eerie and more difficult to see when walking at night. Please replace these immediately, it’s a safety hazard.
This area is very dark, needs light
