The accidents at Smith and Morningside need to stop. Another just happened. PLEASE put solar flashers on the Smith stop signs or even cross flags to get folks to actually stop there appropriately. Dangerous for cars. Deadly for bikers.
Please forward this to Mayor Hamilton. Dear Mayor Hamilton, I would like to urge the city and the county to adopt a 1% for the arts for the new Convention Center. Tired of power always being out in Park Ridge East. Power is something City residents should expect to be consistently ON in a town these days.
Any way the stop e signs can get extra visible on N Smith ? People drive through n and s all the time without stopping. Skid marks are there now. Today almost was his by one car as I turned out of Morningside and saw another later in the day go through. I know lights may not work, unless there is solar?, But I'm pretty sure I've seen other ways of emphasizing a stop sign. Please and thank you. Especially since a bike path east/west too.
