There is a lady that stands there with a sign, not a lot, but a few times I have seen her. She is hostile towards the cars sitting at the stop light waiting for the light to turn green. She was shaking her fist at me and I thought she was going to start beating my car. There are homeless all around that area which needs to be addressed, but if any person starts beating on my car for whatever their reason is I do consider that person to be violent and I am fearing for my life. That is not acceptable in our city. Clean up our streets Bloomington.
Resident called in to complain about the location of a dumpster that has been parked beside their residence for approximately 2 months. Problems related to the dumpster location precipitated after IU students began move-in activities earlier this month. The resident has not been able to reliably utilize sanitation services because the dumpster obstructs access for sanitation vehicles. Sanitation has issued warnings to the resident for trash build-up, but the resident does not control the dumpster and has requested help to remediate the problem.
What a surprise, it's 517 W Howe again! Blue car 964DNT parked on sidewalk! Again! WHEN WILL THE CITY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE IDIOTS IN THIS HOUSE?
Tenants say the truck has been abandoned for 3+ yrs
Thorns growing into street. Howe and Maple. SHARPS!
Trash cans left on sidewalk all week.
The street has deteriorated so there is a large pothole when entering/exiting the entrance to the building at 116 S Madison St, Bloomington. Could you please fill the void in the street?
There is a lot of trash in the side yard of the house, like 10-20 bags of trash, furniture, and other items. It seems problematic for attracting rodents and critters. It smells and it’s probably an issue for neighbors. It seems like they need some help getting this removed.
The Madison Park HOA would like to request that this tree, and the nearby tree stump from previously cut tree, are both removed. This is located in between the HOA property and the street, next the southwest building. We had a tree removal contractor assess this area and inform us that the tree is dying and needs to be removed. I believe this is the only tree left in this area, and we have been previously informed that these trees are owned by the City, not the HOA. I am reaching out on the HOA's behalf as their property manager, Mackie Properties. Please feel free to contact me directly via the information I provided, or contact the Mackie office at (812) 287-8036 or [email protected]. Thank you.
