On February 24 during a wind storm a tree, which stands near the power line between Arden Dr. and Queens Way, dangerously cracked. The workers from Duke Energy, who cut a big portion of the tree, understandably didn’t want it to fall on the power line. They did it in a such way that branches fell to our back yard and even damaged the fence. Duke doesn’t want to remove debris and repair the fence. Despite the tree stand on the land belonging to Duke (or town?) and the damage was not the act of nature, they claim that it is not their responsibility. So you're doubling the width of the sidewalk from 5ft to 10ft for a recreational path. Great. But does that mean you've also doubled the amount of sidewalk I'm now responsible to clear of snow in the winter? Should I be dumping tea into Lake Monroe?

Given that tomorrow is the last date to lodge complaints against how the Southeast Park Trail 2 was constructed, and given that I've already lodged complaints against this (to no avail), I am one last time losing a last complaint against the SE Park Trail 2, to document that you people aren't even considering this issue as relevant. Just to document this for records, I've complained about the SE Park 2 issues for a couple of years now. The City chooses to ignore these complaints. I have only complained about how The City and their colleagues ignored my complaints over time. And still...... At some point will our city planners do something about this? No?
