The contractors for the housing development by Bloomingfoods East are constantly using the Bfoods parking lot for staging, contractor parking, and using the access street for the same purpose. They are blocking traffic, and creating dangerous access conditions. Is this part of their traffic plan? If so, somebody in Planning needs to look closer at these plans.

Weekday parking in Zone 4 has become nearly impossible since the recent ordinance change which combined Zones 4 & 5 AND the change to not allow zone 4 parkers to use empty metered spaces. The parking lines on the south side of the square are even more invisible than they were last year when I requested they be re-painted. I was told last summer that the painting was scheduled, and then it was winter and it hadn't been done. Then I was told it was scheduled for this past spring. It's still not done. Can we PLEASE get these painted this year before the snow flies? -Eric Schmitz, Monroe County Recorder
