For years this was held at Bryan Park Pool. I'm glad that Mills Pool has hosted it for a while. I suggest that now the event location alternate between the pools

I am retired and live across Woodlawn Avenue from the Bryan Park Pool. In the morning I usually sit on my deck to drink coffee and read the paper. The person who mows and string trims in the park often (five days/week?) starts mowing shortly after 8 am. It's loud and annoying, and the last straw was when it happened this morning - SATURDAY! He mowed the grass strip between Woodlawn and the parking lot, then the strip across Woodlawn along that parking lot, then the grass strip directly outside my yard! My cat jumped up and ran inside, and this was at 8:30. I'm sure many of my neighbors would agree that this is unnecessary; how can mowing be so urgent that it has to be done at 8:00 on Saturday morning? I will add that the gentleman does a great job; the park is mowed and trimmed and free of trash. But please make a change so that the loud machinery is operated later in the day. Thank you.
Merri go round at Switchyard is missing some screws in the center, the part that people hold on to in order to spin
Numerous street lights out along Forrester street between Roy Schmalz Ct and Olcott Blvd
It is now July 11th 2021 and this homeowner has yet to mow his lawn once. It's a hazard as it's 3-4 feet tall. This is against the city rules and so why is the city not enforcing the law?
Downed tree on S Smith Rd between E Moores Pike and S Sara Ct.
West sidewalk on college avenue under the train bridge at about 11th Street is blocked by dense vegetation both north and south of the train bridge.
Along creek between Fairview and Patterson is homeless camp with much debris/needles and more. Terrible sanitation and mess from June 18-19 flooding. Enormous mess. A terrible blight on our neighborhood.
Christian nationalist 'we buy houses'signs continue to be scattered at City intersections. Get rid of them!
During the evening rainstorm of 7/10/2021, the storm water swale to the north of our home overfilled its banks and flooded our back and side yards. Luckily, the rain stopped before the water breached our basement window well, which happened July 18-19, flooding our basement. The storm pipes below these swales are obviously under-sized. We request a re-assessment of these swales by a storm water engineer to mitigate future flooding and the property damage we have already experienced. We believe repeated high storm water flow during the past several years has caused erosion of the swales and they are no longer able to hold current storm water run-off.
