Graffiti

820-898 North College Avenue

Case Date:
6/1/2018

There is a very large recent graffiti tag on the west wall of the railroad underpass that needs to be painted over asap. I understand there is a special crew that handles graffiti. There is also graffiti on the East wall and on the east and west walls of the underpass directly east on Walnut St.

Sewer Problems (Storm Sewers)

901 W 11th ST

Case Date:
6/1/2018

There is a stormwater runoff ditch between our house (901 W 11th St) and the neighboring house, 827 W 11th St. I've noticed that after a rainfall, the stormwater that collects in the ditch looks blackish in color, and there is a strong odor of sewage coming from it. I'm wondering if there is a leak from the sanitary sewer somewhere in the neighborhood, that is spilling into the stormwater sewer.

Website & Web Services Feedback

It would be very useful if city residents could register accounts with uReport and comment on tickets, especially since tickets are publicly viewable. There are a number of simple questions in the system that could easily be answered by other residents and need not use up city staff members' valuable time. In addition, it would be helpful if residents who open new tickets could follow up with additional information about their issue through uReport. Finally, I could foresee a situation where an "adversarial ticket" is opened (e.g., one neighbor complaining about another), in which case the complainee should be able to explain their side of the story. If the complaint is to be publicly accessible through this system, then the complainee's response should be publicly accessible as well.
