The water usage is exceedingly high and we are not sure why. The amount that is recorded as being used seems like way more than we could use, and we suspect there may be an issue with the water meter or a potential leak somewhere that is causing an issue with the reading.
Hello, I am writing to inquire about whether the sidewalk on the east side of S. Jackson St. between 3rd and 4th streets can be repaired. As a person with a visual impairment, I have a terrible time walking on the sidewalk in this location, which is in the block where my house is. The sidewalk is very uneven, with tripping hazards throughout its course due to decay. If I didn't have a visual impairment, it would certainly be easier to walk on this part of the sidewalk, but I know that others with no visual impairment also have a difficult time because of the deteriorated surface. I appreciate the progress on this squatter / fire hazard, but will simply boarding up the place solve the problem of homeless squatters using this as a bicycle chop shop? Is there anything else we can do to evict them from tearing off the plywood and squatting again? I get legal BS, but let's accelerate this and fix it. This place has been a fire hazard and theft / stripyard for years. The homeless is this area at 7AM, sitting between Grimes and Rallys, waiting to prey again - is a f'ing joke waiting to deal with privately. Do something.
This light has been out for several weeks and makes it unsafe to walk in this area when it is dark outside. Light is located near the bus lane closest to the Transit Center.
People who are unhoused are leaving their belongings / lots of trash in the alley of our office building. Customers/clients/pedestrians use this alley often.
homeless people are reported sleeping on the property.
There was a storm and parts of their tree branches have fallen down. It's now become weedy and a hazard for someone to come out and check utility boxes in the area.
The meter associated with Acct# 32673-004 had an underground leak. None of the water entered a drain or went through the pipes after leaking. We are requesting a credit of $11,536.55 for the wastewater portion of the attached bill. Thank you!
On my way to work this morning I was almost hit by a vehicle that did not stop at the stop sign by the Boys and Girls Club on W 12th St. They drove right through the sign. I was able to get the vehicle's license plate, but I'm not sure if that should be included in this, or if I should provide that to someone if I am contacted. After this incident, I feel like a police presence should be at this stop sign in the morning. There are kids and adults that are constantly walking around this area, and I do not want anyone to get hit because someone is blowing through stop signs.
The main sewage line north of my home is backing up (again). This is a recurring issue. The water/sewage level at the access hole has reached the level of the basement, and the basement toilet has started to back up. Please clean out the blockage in the main sewage. I am aware that you had crews there earlier this year to cut back roots, but something is blocking this sewage line now.
