This is a thank you. I have recently noticed workers in Bryan Park playgrounds using a bucket and a spiked pole to pick up pieces trash. Such an improvement over using leafblowers. Please also answer this question: when workers are using leafblowers in the playgrounds, what is the reason? I have several times uReported my objections to that practice that stirs up dust, creates noise pollution, and fills the air with exhaust fumes. All that, it seemed to me, without any real purpose. But let me add: I have also noticed much less leafblowing recently. For that, THANKS!

Question: Does any of the solid waste generated in Bloomington go to landfills out of town / out of county? Also, are there are plans for a methane-to-natural gas plant like the one I read about in an HT article on October 4?

Thank you! This morning I discovered that the boardwalk on the path through the middle of Bryan Park has had grit strips installed!! Thank you. This is the boardwalk I slipped on last January and injured my wrist badly enough to have a cast on it for 8 weeks. So, I am very grateful that the surface has been improved! Thank you! Many of humans at the Ferguson Dog Park do not know how to use the T-valve to turn on the water, or that spray will cool and clean their dog. Please post instructions, or use a magic marker to point the way.

Greetings. The drain at Jackson and 14th is blocked in a very solid way. Also, the drain at Fairview and 15th street is in a similar state. There are a lot more in that area due to it being on the descent of the floodplain. Thank you.

The storm grate in the 300 block of 7th street is broken and the structural integrity of the drain appears to be somewhat compromised. The concreate around the drain is severely damaged. This is a fairly new drain so I'm a bit surprised that it has broken so quickly.
