He wants to know when the new speed limit (25 mph) will be installed on West 6th Street.
911 E. University: Trash at side of house. Neighbor tried asking them to clean it up. Not using cans. Ghost of newscaster Fahey Flynn lurks in yard at night moaning and mumbling about Ed Vrdolyak and Richard Speck.
Called several times on 10/21 and 10/24. Upset with what he feels is harrassment/unfair treatment by IUPD. Also asked if this is an election year and how he could run for mayor.
Straighten meter pole in lot at 4th and Dunn, meter S5.
Called OOTM after speaking to Public Works. Had a number of complaints about the city phone system, the county phone system and the post office. Continued to ask questions but was not satisfied with any of the information I gave her. Finally hung up on me.
need a no parking any time sign on the 1000 block of W. 7th, north side of street in front of Bannaker School. Ord. 15.32.080 No Parking Zones. This last summer the sidewalk and wall on the 7th st side of Bannaker School was replaced, sign never put back. I am receiving complaints about the difficulty in traveling the street with cars parked on both sides.
At 1st and Rogers the lines at the stops are gone. Dr. Timothy Hodges has almost been hit and he would like to have lines on the road so cars know where to stop.
Anonymous caller said we should add two porta potties to People's Park.
Mr. Michael called on 11/28 to complain about unfair treatment by the local court system. He was very angry and began cussing at Diane. When it became apparent he was not going to stop his profanity-laced rant, she hung up on him. Mr. Michael then called back and left an angry voicemail message. At the end of the message, he said someone better clean up this (expletive) or he will...and "that's a promise." Diane forwarded the message to Chief Diekhoff.
