Hello:
This Honda is parked nearly every evening, as well as over the weekend, on the 300 block of S Jackson. Photo attached
Not sure where the person goes when they leave the car here, but they inevitably leave bags of garbage behind. This has been going on for about 6 weeks now and we are sick of cleaning up large amounts of trash. Perhaps one of the Neighborhood Resource Officers could come by and talk with her one evening?
Thank you for your time-
Prospect Hill resident
Website & Web Services Feedback

This is a suggestion for a website related service. You’ve rolled out a calendar for yard waste and recycling pickup on re-collect, which I use and greatly appreciate. I am wondering if a similar calendar accessed through myBloomington can be established for street cleaning (with the suggestion that cars be moved if possible) to maximize efficiency.

I’ve noticed the incident of local people in town getting vitiligo seems to be going up. The occurrence in the general population is believed 22/100,000. I can count 8 people who have the condition and I know that I don’t know nearly half the population of Bloomington. So anecdotally that leads me to believe that it is possible that the occurrence in town is much higher than the general population. This of course piqued my curiosity. So I did some research as to the cause of vitiligo. Although there are many potential causes, one cause that stuck out to me is environmental exposure to phenol-containing chemicals. So I looked up what phenol chemicals are and used for. Although they are used for many industrial products, I learned that they are most often used to clean medical devices. https://www.chemicalsafetyfacts.org/chemicals/phenol/
This made me think about the cleaning facility that Cook medical has in Ellettsville. And made me wonder if there is a company in town that uses this type of cleaning agent (Cook or some other) that may be spreading into our environment and causing exposure risk to the general population.
So my question is: has the health department recieved data about the prevalence of vitiligo in our community and if so is it elevated in comparison to national averages? And if so, will there be an action plan to reduce the exposure risks to our community?

I already reported this issue just now. But I could not attach a picture at that time. This one is one among a few potholes at the entrance of Laurelwood Drive.

At 916 S. Westhill Ct., 47403, the City began to repair the area of my street, but never completed the job. There had been a water main break. There are still orange cones in the area at the bottom of my driveway.

'Chimney Repair' sign at the STOP sign right at the corner of Miller Drive and S Highland Ave. I would suspect it is in the ROW.
