At the address of 1125 E Hunter, the homeowner leaves trash and recycle bins blocking the sidewalk after pick up. This homeowner will leave the bins out all week and take trash to bin daily instead of taking bin back to property. These bins block the entire sidewalk at Hunter and Ballantine on the west side of the sidewalk.
I'm guessing someone from Parks and Rec chose the image for the parks web page. I'm hoping someone in the Parks department can find a winter photo of Bloomington or at least of Southern Indiana. I looked at the current image being used and thought to myself that's not Bloomington but I do want to go there, where ever that is and see that beautiful scenery myself. It didn't make me think "Wow! Bloomington has amazing open space and views!!" Come on Parks have some hometown pride! (please)

The tennis courts at Bryan Park; the windscreen around the southern courts have become "undone" and are flapping in the wind; a real mess. Would someone please go there with a hand full of zip ties and correct the problem? Thank you. V/r, Mark

My question is, how can a situation be closed, when nothing was done to fix the problem. The lights have not been relocated. The new lights will be relocated along the trail between Hawthorne and Weatherstone. Could you please ask the landlord at 402 E 1st Street to clean up the leaves in their front yard? Twice now, their leaves have blown onto my property at 404 E 1st Street. I had my yard cleaned before Thanksgiving and again today, December 14. As you can see from the photo, my property (on the left) is well-maintained, while 402 (on the right) is not. I would appreciate it if the landlord could take responsibility and maintain the property in a way that reflects good neighborly behavior. FYI: I do not have trees on my front or side yards. I received an email claiming to be from the City Utilities asking for personal information to update the customer database. Is this real or a scam? Why can't you take the information you already have on record and transfer it to a new database? Also, if it's real, I highly suggest you put something about this on the current billing website for people to see. This just looks very illegitimate. The sender is from some everbridge.net address that I don't recognize. Screenshot attached. Thanks.
There is an abandoned vehicle in front of 600 W. Howe St. It has been parked the wrong way on the street for at least a month (or longer). It was just recently issued a parking violation ticket. It's a Ford SUV - License plate is 217DBF. No one has interacted with this car since it first showed up. It would be great if it could be removed - parking can be at a premium on the street. Thank you!
