Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

Every time it rains our street floods severely and then backs up onto the sidewalks and coats them in a thick layer of mud. It’s a combination of heavy storms that the storm drain on the corner of 12th and Walnut cannot keep up with and a residual problem caused by the fiberware that was installed last year. Ever since they dug up the corner of 12th and Walnut the ground is nothing but mud and has been slowly taking over the sidewalk. It is unsafe to walk on as it is incredibly slippery and is at least an inch thick.

Street Trees

The Madison Park HOA would like to request that this tree, and the nearby tree stump from previously cut tree, are both removed. This is located in between the HOA property and the street, next the southwest building. We had a tree removal contractor assess this area and inform us that the tree is dying and needs to be removed. I believe this is the only tree left in this area, and we have been previously informed that these trees are owned by the City, not the HOA. I am reaching out on the HOA's behalf as their property manager, Mackie Properties. Potholes, Other Street Repair

Hi. This area of Maxwell lane needs to be built up a bit higher to help rainwater drain off into the grass. This spot retains water for many days after even a moderate rain. People like to park on the grass which is fair since it’s on the city’s right of way, but it looks bad, splashes pedestrians and bicycles and I think could be improved with a minimal amount of work. The edge of the road just needs a bit of building up so water drains properly. Thanks. Fred Pavalko
