The left turn only lane signage is missing and the street paint for the left turn only is no longer visible. Basically there is no way to know that the left lane from Grimes to Walnut is left turn only. The sign for Walnut St is sun bleached and almost impossible to read as well.
No attempt to remove snow after two weeks.
There is a pothole increasing in size at the stop sign on Heather Drive at Walnut Street Pike.
The corner sidewalks in front of Bloomington Cleaners are inadequately cleared. After clearing their large parking lot, they could do better for the public than a measly, narrow path that is barely wide enough for one person. Chapter 6.07 paragraph 10 (b) of the municipal code requires that "the minimum clear width of the path shall be thirty-six inches." These photos were taken at 3:57 PM on February 8, 2026 – 14 days after the end of the last snowstorm.
Half of the public sidewalk in front of this house is covered with thick ice. The path cleared must be at least 3 feet wide – 6.07.010 (b). This photo was taken at 4:00 PM on February 8, 2026 – 14 days after the end of the last snowstorm.
The public sidewalk along Kinser Pike was never shoveled. Pedestrians are forced to either risk slipping and falling on packed snow and ice, or walk in Kinser Pike and risk being killed by a car, near a very busy intersection. This photo was taken at 3:55 PM on February 8, 2026 – 14 days after the end of the last snowstorm.
