The intersection of Kinser Pike with the Bypass needs to be cleared for pedestrians. People are forced to walk in the road, which is very dangerous. Photo taken 2026 Feb 1 – 4:11 PM
Pedestrian access is blocked by a mound of snow about 3 feet high at the intersection of Kinser Pike and Amaryllis Drive. Photo taken 2026 Feb 1 – 4:50 PM

In Green Acres, the only east-west route for walkers to avoid walking in streets is 5th and Hillsdale to the east, north along Hillsdale, then west to campus along 7th street. In many areas the walks have either been blocked by plowed snow, or by those who shovelled out their drives, and many areas remain untouched by shovel. Could the city clear the biggest mounds of snow at least? Perhaps a bucket could scoop and drop it in a unused easement or ROW? It would be helpful if the walks could be cleared as well. Thanks. I know it's low on the list but thought I'd ask politely anyway.
Re: Case #208078 ... How is the report "invalid"?!? The sidewalk shown in the photo was never cleared. The sidewalk along the WEST end (near the alley) of the very long building is STILL covered with packed snow and ice – as of the late afternoon on February 2, 2026. This is now NINE days after the end of the last snowstorm.
Please see the attached photo for a look at the sidewalk at Kappa Kappa Gamma (or whichever Sorority is currently residing at that property). Part of the sidewalk has been cleared, but a section on Hawthorne is covered with a huge pile of snow so a pedestrian has no choice but to walk into the street to get around it. Unfortunately the sidewalk on other side of the street also hasn't been cleared, so that isn't an option. That belongs to IU so I have contacted them about that. Thank you!
The trash has poured over into the alley way and has been there for over five days now. The wind has taken even more trash out than what is seen and is going into other peoples yards and into the street. They have been politely asked to clean up but the request has been ignored. The trash has also not been taken to the street for pick up in over a month so it is assumed that an animal is what got into the trash.
The walk around at the new convention center construction site (between College and Walnut just south of 3rd) is not being maintained. Please forward this to engineering, as they have a special responsibility towards construction detours. Thanks!
While redoing the Templeton elementary playground over the past year and a half many heavy construction vehicles used the two blocks of South Park Ave as their main access point for construction. During that time the road conditions on those two blocks of South Park ave (from Grimes to Hillside) have worsened becoming hazardous, with many potholes that need to be avoided like obstacles to dodge left and right. There are no sidewalks on this street so many kids walk to Templeton in the street, with the potholes creating further distraction for drivers. The construction crew hired was very respectful of the neighborhood, but the additional wear from the large project needs to be prioritized and addressed. Thank you for your time.
